#395 The Dragons/Kali ghati Ke Lutere

After a long long time a Bahadur comic is being posted at ICC. The last comic had been posted on 7th of August. This time I have decided to wear CW's pant and post a English as well as a Hindi. and to tell you very frankly, this pant is extremely difficult to wear. To post Hindi and English comic at a same time is not a joke. I wonder, how he has been doing it for last 8 months.. Pants off to you... oops, I mean, hats off to you...

So this comic is dedicated to CW and his remarkable work. Please come back soon,, we miss you a lot.. I hope, you all are agree with me. Aren't you?

Hindi Scans are by Desiguru and English scans are by Ajay.

Chandan: I'm, really sorry!! I missed your name when I commented at TPH, please forgive me.

Btw, is anyone interested in classic B/W Flash Gordon Daily Strips? other than Sagnik and Col Worubu?

Once again, i am first...

Your pants are great enough, but trying someone's else is a good idea, especially the hindi and english combo is good...

Why dont u provide the download link when u post? any technical problem?

anyway, online is also fun... what has happened to TCP? vanished out of thin air? u have any clues?

Nice to see a Bahadur comic after a long time.

About half an hour ago I downloaded safari web browser. The first page i tried is yours. and bang! A new comic with beautiful pictures all over the screen. Now I tell you one thing there is some difficultiy with my firefox and operas. they just don't display the thumbnails from imageshake. I must have changed some settings while tinkering, but safari looks good. I think i am going to keep this.

Great Great going. Keep it up at your own comfortable speed.

and regarding flash gordon strips, i do like them. In fact i am continuously requesting cw and anupam for flash stories from indrajals. IJC#317 the undersea people, I requested anupam to post (you can check my comment regarding this on his blog) but you provided it first. thankful to you for this.

tph" : i can see thumbnails from my opera browser..must be some problem in urs..
the flash strips i mentioned, are not from indrajals. infact, indrajal never published these strips, i got it from a private flash and phantom group..
these are from 1941-1958 by austin and dan barry, all bw but excellant artwork..
i also have some buztrips

The Phantom Head said...

thumbnails do appear in my rss feeds, that's why i asked you to provide it sometime ago.

i just love all indrajal characters including kirby, sawyer and drake. mike nomad I didn't read much but that is just ok. Dara and Aditya I never liked. Actually i haven't read a single comic of these two till date.

I would welcome any strip from flash and buz as long as the story is good and artwork nice. Recently I saw a blog with some pictures of kirby kirby with Alex Raymond's unbelievably beautiful art work. He is the same guy who created flash.

one thing I forgot to mention before. I am missing CW very very much. Wish he soon comes back and join us. Very nicely you remembered him in the post. :-) (pants off)

#Chandoba:A nice change,dude!!

Yup,like to see Flash Dailies....strangely,while Dan Barry illustrated Flash-Daily frm 1951,he took the Sundays only frm 1967! :-(

#TPH: "Dara and Aditya I never liked. Actually i haven't read a single comic of these two till date."

Hi mate, how come u dislike/like something u yet to read???
If you like Garth/Buz/Nomad....then I'm quite sure that u wud going to like Dara-Indrajals.. :-))
There's TOTAL 8 Dara comics n among those 3 already published in TCP N KIT-blog...

Just to break the WRONG notion abt this Price of the spies,I'd reqst Chandu to post a perfect Dara-thriller...let's see. :-))

About Aditya, u just can't like it....under the banner of Indrajal Comics.....it's more like a ACK stuffs :-/

#TPH:NIce info.....
I never imagined that Kirby (introduced very lately in IJC..some 1981 or so)was created im '40s!! Just a few months ago when I visit Wiki...I discoverd that Kirby went through several changes of Script-writers n Illustrators....
Personallly I felt, the LAST man who took the charge in 1986 (can't recall the name)brought MORE thrill-n-varity in these Detective series....ONLY 4 of that series were appered in IJC...

These r Vol.25 No.25,25 -37,26-19 and 26-29

P.S.- I've stored the LAST panel of Kirby in my PC (Dated:26/6/1999)....it's really nostalgic!

Nice to see Bahadur- I've only read a few of his adventures, and would like to see more! Also would love to see some Flash Gordon strips!! (Where do you find the time?) Cheers, and thanks!

Aditya Simha said...

Thanks a lot for this Bahadur. I notice that a lot of people didn't like 'Aditya' comics. Come on people! He was our own Indian Wizard - yes, ok I admit he wasn't as cool as Bahadur or Mandrake, but still, he wasn't bad coz he shared my name, ok! ;)

Thanks, and keep up the awesome work fellows,
Aditya

Hi,everybody.
ICC is a wonderful place to gather.
Amidst all the stuff happening,i have a idea to cheer up everybody and to make blogging/commenting even more interesting.
to start with ,ICC,please try and mention at least 2 of ur forthcoming attractions.then by choice we'll all select of course by comments and atleast leaving the correct name.
Then as you wish u can post.Time won't be a factor.
like they say ist come ist.
let's include Phantom,mandrake,bahadur,d/s strips, garth, rip, aditya etc.I know its going to be pretty tough for ICC but its high time all blogs buzz with excitement and comments of all sorts/jokes.stories in bet'n ,things to know each other better. All this will revolve around comics. So lets earn the comics and not simply demand.I urge all viewers to take this very seriously.ICC was good enough to come back, not all will do that and we will be left to blame ourselves if we don't realise their effort.

The Phantom Head said...

Chandan: good attempt but I don't see many coming forward in your support. we in this country are more accustomed to free culture only. Alas!

The Phantom Head said...

ICC: I would like to see a Marathi indrajal (preferably phantom) on this blog some day. TCP posted a Tamil and some Gujrati ones were given by KitWalker. May be sagnik can help with a Bangla indrajal. Just a dream.

Chandan said...

Come on viewers,no support for my comment?Come on.
Atleast COL.WOROBU/SAGNIK/GS/MOZZ/DR.GOKHAKLE/ADITYA/DERATT/WILDMAGIC/I.FAN CLUB.
I thought i wud invite many a comment...disappointing.
Do u have anything to say,ICC?Was it a better or bitter idea?
Please tell me.

chandan: thanks for ur concern and efforts... i never ever said anything about comments earlier.. even if my my statistic for "the belt is:

comments 07.....

only today, when james accused tph for not giving dl link, i reacted...
i think, i reacted on a valid point...

Indrajal Comics Club said...

tph: thanks dear, but i think we all regulars ( i will not take names!!!!)
are good enough for each others,,, if somebody wants to appriciate our efforts, let them come forward,, they are always welcome...

Indrajal Comics Club said...

tph:r u a maharashtrian? or do u know marathi? i have few marathi comics as well.. espicially all early issues,,

Indrajal Comics Club said...

chandan: thanks again for your efforts,,, but let it go now...

Indrajal Comics Club said...

kit: well well.. where were u,,, u stopped posting

Aditya Simha said...

Oh yeah, Chandan! Good point! That would make this blog even cooler than it is. Yes, the ratio of comment/downloads seems to be very low. I would suggest only posting the comic link instead of an image file for every page. That way, perhaps time would be saved.
Your idea is a good one. That way more interaction will be there.

Aditya

Chandan said...

Thanks,Aditya.And GOOD Morning.
Going for work now.

The Phantom Head said...

ICC: Though i m not a maharashtrian, i am able to understand at least the essence by reading. it uses the same devnagri script as hindi and not very difficult.

At this point i would like to add that in my city there is a considerable percentage of marathi speaking people and my family has been living in very close affinity to some of these maharashtrian families. my elder sister is capable of reading and at least understanding the language (though can't speak herself) but my mother is quite fluent in speaking also.

As for Bangla, It is one of the sweetest language on ear. When I was in 5th standard, there was a nearby bengali family to whom i went for coaching of maths. Wonderful days those. I remember his name was Debashish but we called him Debu Da. Just can't forget him 'cause once he slapped me on my face and i ended up having two stiches over my right eye brow. Mistake was mine and he had a slightly short temper. But a lovely person (aged only aroud 25 then).oops... talked too much. hope it doesn't reveal my identity.

I am intent on learning these two languages more 'cause i find these cultures are two of the most deeply rooted (among few others). some of the greatest names in literature are from here. Someday I will read all those in original and not in translation.

p.s. - you said on tph that you are an engineer by profession. well i am also an engineer but only by qualification.

Indrajal Comics Club said...

aditya & chandan: thanks for ur concerns

Indrajal Comics Club said...

tph: your identity has been revealed!!!!! you are a true indian who loves its culture,,,
